Report: Roethlisberger will play at less than full strength

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is not expected to be at full strength on Sunday, but the full playbook will reportedly be available to him.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Roethlisberger won’t be held back against the Broncos.

For #Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, assumption is his arm won't be full strength. But my understanding is, the full playbook is available.

Obviously, we won’t really know just how functional Roethlisberger is until he’s out there throwing. Pittsburgh will already be coping without their leading rusher and their leading receiver, so if Roethlisberger can’t move the ball the Steelers may well be in for a world of hurt. It’s encouraging that the Steelers believe he can still handle anything in their playbook.
