Lollapalooza 2016: Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers Headline Lineup
Radiohead, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsystem are set to headline this year's Lollapalooza Festival, which will take place in Chicago's Grant Park this summer.
J. Cole, Lana Del Rey, Future, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure, Major Lazer, Jane's Addiction, Haim, Flume, the 1975, M83, Halsey, Chris Stapleton, Bloc Party, Vince Staples and A$AP Ferg have also been added to the lineup. A complete lineup is below. Tickets for the festival will go on sale at 10 a.m. CST at the festival's official site. Last year's Lollapalooza featured headlining sets from Paul McCartney and Metallica. A diverse collection of artists, including the Weeknd, Charli XCX, Sam Smith, Tyler the Creator, Alesso and Brand New also took over the Chicago park for the weekend. Radiohead's Lollapalooza gig comes on the heels of the band announcing their first U.S. concerts in four years. The band will perform at Madison Square Garden on July 26th and 27th and will perform at Montreal's Osheaga's Music and Arts Festival the same weekend as Lollapalooza. In early June, Radiohead will perform their new album — and long-awaited follow-up to 2011's King of Limbs — at Spain's Primavera Sound. No release date for the as-yet-untitled album has been revealed yet. The Chili Peppers are also planning their follow-up to their 2011 album, I'm With You. The band joined Bruno Mars at the Super Bowl in 2014 before wrapping a tour together that summer. So far this year, they've been busy supporting Bernie Sanders and his bid for the Democratic nomination for president. LCD Soundsystem will reunite for the first time since the band's 2011 farewell show at Madison Square Garden at Coachella in April. The dance-rock group will play Bonnaroo in June then NYC's newest festival, Panorama, in July.
